✨ New Features
Task and Purchase Order Linking — Tasks can now be linked to one or more Purchase Orders, making it easy to track work that is waiting for spare parts to arrive on board.
Purchase Order Cost Management — A new Manage Costs dialog enables users to review and quickly update the cost per unit for all line items on a PO. Extended costs and the Purchase Order total are then calculated automatically.
Purchase Order Total Costs — The Purchase Order grid now includes an optional Total Cost column, providing immediate visibility of each order’s calculated value.
Create Purchase Orders from Inventory — Users can now create a new Purchase Order directly from the Inventory module when adding one or more inventory items to a PO.
Equipment Scheduled Checks — The Equipment Checks tab now displays all existing Scheduled Checks associated with the selected equipment, making it easy to see which checks are already configured and when they are next due.
Bulk Attachment and Photo Uploads — Multiple attachments or photos can now be uploaded to a record at the same time using the Bulk Add action button, streamlining the process of adding supporting documentation and images.
Certificate Renewal Workflows — When completing a task for an expired certificate, users can now choose to replace, renew or archive the related certificate as part of the task completion workflow. The certificate will then be updated accordingly.
🛠️ Improvements
The Equipment “Build Reference / Article Number” Field has been renamed to “Article Number”.
The Equipment “Arrangement Number” can now be changed in bulk using the Update Records Utility.
The Equipment Grid now contains “Rating”, “Arrangement Number”, and “Article Number” as optional columns.
The Task Detail Form has been reorganized with a dedicated Cost & Contractor section, providing clearer separation between planning, assignment, and cost information.
The Purchase Order Add Line Item dialog now includes an Add & New option to support faster data entry.
Active Captain selections in Crew Lists and Hours of Rest reports now recognise positions containing “Captain” or “Master”, including Positions such as “Relief Captain”, “Temp Captain” etc.
In the Scheduling Detail Form the “Worklist & Regulatory Information” Accordion has been renamed “Assignment & Responsibility” to match the terminology used in Tasks.
Accordions throughout YMS now remain a consistent, compact size when expanded or collapsed, reducing unnecessary movement on screen.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Historical Running Log entries now follow the order configured in the Running Log Utility. Historical readings that have since been removed remain available.
When completing a task for equipment that inherits running hours from a parent item with an hour meter offset, the hours recorded in the log entry, applied to the equipment and used to update the schedule, where applicable, now honor the parent equipment’s configured offset.
When saving a form revision, an “Uploading” overlay is now displayed while the new revision and its associated PDF are being saved, preventing users from navigating away before the upload is complete.
The Update Records Utility now works correctly for permitted records when the user has no Interdepartmental Access. Access restrictions are applied only where they are relevant.
