📋 Overview

This update makes equipment details easier to see and share from the Tasks module. A task's linked equipment Make, Model and Serial Number can now be shown on the Tasks grid, in exports, on the task itself and in Tasks PDF reports. It also adds new Tasks report options and fixes several issues reported by users, including signature placement on multi-page SMS/ISPS forms.

🛠️ Improvements

• Warranty Icon on the Tasks Grid — Tasks marked as Warranty now show a Warranty icon in the icons column of the Tasks grid.

• Equipment Details on the Tasks Grid — Three new optional grid columns, Equipment Make, Equipment Model and Equipment S/N (Serial Number), show the details of each task's linked equipment. The new columns are hidden by default.

• Equipment Details on the Task Form — When a task is linked to equipment, the task detail form now shows that equipment's Manufacturer, Model Number and Serial Number under the Equipment field.

• New Tasks PDF Report Options — The Tasks PDF report dialog has two new options. They work for both single-task and multi-task reports:

  • Include Equipment Info — Adds the linked equipment's Manufacturer, Model and Serial Number on a new row under Equipment for each task.

  • Start Tasks on New Page — Starts each task on a new page. A long task can still run over several pages, and the next task always starts on a fresh page. This option is off by default.

🐞 Bug Fixes

• Signatures Placed on the Wrong Page — On multi-page SMS/ISPS forms, signatures added with the Signature Button from the toolbar always appeared at the top of page 1. They are now placed on the page you are currently viewing and can be relocated between pages.

• Attachments Downloading With the Wrong File Extension — Some attachments downloaded with a different file extension from the one they were uploaded with. For example, .MOV videos downloaded as .QT and Outlook .MSG emails downloaded as .BIN, so they would not open until renamed. Files now keep their original extension. Attachments uploaded before this fix also download with the correct extension.

• Equipment Overview and Scheduling Overview Tiles on Smaller Screens — On laptop-sized screens and phones, text on the Home Dashboard's Equipment Overview and Scheduling Overview tiles could overlap or be cut off. The tiles now resize so all text stays readable.
